Spherion State College is working to fill a 3rd Shift, Production Operator position in State College, PA. The pay rate is $19.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The Production Operator position involves executing kiln and post-kiln manufacturing tasks under a compressed workweek schedule. This role focuses heavily on the inspection, setup, and processing of ceramic and metal components.

What you'll do:

• Examine manufacturing components for micro-defects using microscopes.
• Escalate flagged product issues directly to area leads or supervisors.
• Review and carefully follow daily engineering and work specification
• Prepare standard daily work areas and manage tools.
• Track and log work order movement and outputs into the production software.
• Handle pre-kiln and post-kiln staging and material handling.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with corporate safety protocols'

Education: High School

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Experience: 12 months

Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing or production environments., Comfortable working around ceramics, solvents, dust, and raw metals
