Description:

The Environmental Health Safety Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting safety programs through administrative coordination, documentation, and compliance tracking. The idea candidate would have experience with Microsoft Office and its functions. This role focuses heavily on office based tasking to help maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

What you'll do:

• Create and implement digital media for communication such as posters, videos, toolbox talks, etc.
• Improving departmental efficiency through automation
• Participating in incident investigations and providing valuable input for corrective actions
• Assisting in increasing process generated waste circularity and sustainability
• Updating existing EHS documentation as required

Education: High School

• Preferred :
• OSHA 10 (General)
• CPR / First Aid
• OSHA 30 (General)

Experience: 6 months

Related Experience: Basic understanding of General Industry OSHA standards, Basic knowledge of EPA and DOT regulations a plus, Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Demonstrated planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
