Production General Laborer

Spherion State College is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Production General Laborer position in Mifflintown, PA. The pay rate is $20.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are a job-shop powder coating company that has several lines and other support departments. Our primary business is to work with other businesses to powder coat their product and get it back to them meeting their expectations for quality in the coating and how the parts are packaged. It is a production environment.

What you'll do:

• Load parts onto the coating line
• Unload parts from the coating line
• Blast parts to remove rust or other matter that may prevent the finishing from being successful
• Mask threaded holes or other areas that we do not want powder to be applied
• Move material around
• Load or unload trucks
• Package parts
• Maintain a safe clean work environment

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking

• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling
• Hot Environments
• Cold Environments
