Spherion State College is working to fill a 7:00-7:00 (2-2-3 Schedule), Production Technician position in Lewistown, PA. The pay rate is $19.50 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The role requires running high-speed production lines making personal care items (such as diapers, pads, or adult incontinence products) while meeting strict output and safety guidelines. Operators monitor automation, verify raw materials, and maintain workspace organization.

What you'll do:

• Follow all plant safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and adhere to FDA, GMP, and ISO manufacturing guidelines.
• Start, monitor, and adjust production machinery efficiently while tracking product vision, waste metrics, and output flow.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet exact quality standards and verify raw material usage.
• Perform line changeovers, basic mechanical adjustments, and clean-up processes, while assisting maintenance technicians when technical issues arise.
• Help train new workers, step in for Lead Operators when needed, and assist neighboring production lines as demands shift.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience: 6 months
