Forklift Driver - $20.82/hr

Spherion Staffing is working with a client in their search to fill Night Shift, Forklift Operator positions in Howard, PA. The pay rate is $20.82 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Team members safely and efficiently operate a motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, to pull pallets of finished product from production lines and place finished product in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system.

What you'll do:

• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive trucks and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule; scheduling deliveries to production area.
• Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 12 months
