Building Services Attendant (Penn State University)

Spherion State College is working to fill a 1st Shift, Penn State University Building Services Attendant position in University Park, PA. The pay rate is $14.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The Building Services Attendant ensures a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position requires a combination of heavy-duty cleaning, minor facility maintenance, and customer-facing interactions.

What you'll do:

• Mop, sweep, vacuum, scrub, and buff various flooring surfaces (carpet, tile, terrazzo).
• Clean, sanitize, and restock public restrooms, shower rooms, and locker spaces.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and display cases.
• Collect, empty, and properly dispose of campus trash, compost, and recyclable materials.
• Perform light maintenance like changing standard light bulbs or clearing building diffusers.

Education: No formal education required.
