Production Assembler

Spherion State College is working to fill a 3rd Shift, Production Assembler position in Reedsville, PA. The pay rate is $20.70 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Are you detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination? Our client is seeking a Production Assembler that play a hands-on role in building quality products in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment. You’ll work with tools and machinery, follow detailed instructions and blueprints, inspect your work for accuracy, and help us meet daily production goals. What you'll do:

• Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy.
• Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Utilize small hand tools, soldering equipment, and specialized machinery.
• Follow documented methods and sequences of operations to ensure all controlled processes are maintained.
• Understand and accurately document daily production metrics.
• Follow cleanroom rules.
• Participate as a team member in skill development and continuous improvement projects.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Skills:

• Using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing machinery.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Using precision instruments like tape measures, calipers, or micrometers, and inspecting finished parts for defects.
• Meticulously checking connections and following exact sequences to prevent errors or safety hazards.
• Grasping, fitting, and fastening small or complex components with a steady hand.
• Coordinating smoothly with line partners, supervisors, and quality inspectors in fast-paced or loud environments.
• Spotting misaligned parts, equipment glitches, or instruction gaps and taking fast corrective action
