Spherion Lebanon is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Material Handler position in Myerstown, PA. The pay rate is $21.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Supply production lines or manufacturing areas with bulk packaging/manufacturing materials.

What you'll do:

• Stage and transfer materials, including bins, drums, and super sacks, to and from airlock areas to ensure continuous production flow.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, to transport, stock, and organize inventory throughout the facility.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy by recording all material and component movements, lot numbers, and quantities within SAP.
• Execute routine SAP inventory transactions, including scrap processing, manual stock transfers, reconciliations, and database cleanups.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to troubleshoot supply discrepancies and resolve automated inventory system issues quickly.

Education: High School

Experience: 9 months

Working knowledge of the SAP inventory tracking system;, Previous Material Handler experience;, Fork lift experience.

Skills:

• Must be able to fluently speak, write and read English;
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions;
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in Windows
• Previous experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice or with standard operating procedures
