Spherion Lebanon is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Material Handler position in Myerstown, PA. The pay rate is $20.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity - get hired on permanently!
Description:
Supply production lines or manufacturing areas with bulk packaging/manufacturing materials.
What you'll do:
- Interact with warehouse on supply/automated inventory system issues
- Supply staging areas with required materials and retrieve bins, drums or super-sacs from airlock
- Transport and stock materials using a forklift or hand truck as needed
- Accurately record movements of components, including lot numbers, and quantities into automated inventory system (SAP)
Education: High School
- Or GED
- Forklift Certification
Experience: 12 months
Forklift, Material HandlerPhysical:
- Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Manual Dexterity,Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)
Related Experience: Must be able to fluently speak, write and read English, Working knowledge of automated inventory tracking systems, Previous experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment required, Fork lift experience, Working knowledge of the SAP inventory tracking system
