Spherion Johnstown is working to fill a Monday- Thursday 5am-3:30pm, Production Associate position in Sidman, PA. The pay rate is $18.58 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Performed commercial woodworking and production duties, including building doors, cabinets, and millwork while working efficiently in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

What you'll do:

• Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
• Work on door assembly line building doors
• Inspect all product for quality
• Machining doors for hardware installation
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

Education: No formal education required.

Experience:

Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.), Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

• Must be able to read a tape measure
