Welding Operator

Spherion Johnstown is working to fill a Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm, Entry Level Welders position in Johnstown, PA. The pay rate is $13.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are looking for an Entry-Level Welder to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in welding. You will learn welding techniques, work with metal parts, and help build and repair products while following safety rules.

What you'll do:

• Read simple work instructions and drawings.
• Use welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and cleaning metal.
• Inspect finished work to make sure it meets quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist experienced welders with projects as needed.
• Report equipment problems to a supervisor.

Education: No formal education required.

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
