General Laborer

Spherion Johnstown is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, General Laborer position in Johnstown, PA. The pay rate is $13.00 to $15.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The company is a leading provider for all medical equipment. They manufacture exam room tables, chairs, cabinets, counter tops, etc. The Spherion employee will responsible for assisting in all departments when needed.

What you'll do:

• The Job Responsibilities of the General Laborer are as follows:
• Prepping parts for the paint department 
•  Assisting machinists if needed
•  Sanding, grinding, assembling, deburring metal
•  Light assembly work
•  Measuring and cutting materials for fabrication

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience: 3 months

Physical:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
• Be able to bend, twist, kneel and stand for entire shift 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
