Spherion Johnstown is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift 2nd Shift, General Laborer position in Somerset, PA. The pay rate is $14.00/hr on 1st Shift to $15.40/hr on 2nd Shift. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The General Laborers remove the tubes from the machines and put them into boxes. The boxes are placed onto skids. The general laborers may need to move the skid with the use of a pallet jack. Employees rotate throughout the production lines perform various tasks such as trash removal, sweeping work areas, removing trash from parking lot, stacking product, carrying card pads, and stacking empty drums on dock.

What you'll do:

• Must be able to box packs quickly.
• Inspect products as you package them.
• Stacking products.
• Carrying card pads.
• Stacking empty drums on dock.
• Trash removal.
• Sweeping work areas.
• Removing trash from parking lot.

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 1 months

Physical:

• Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
