Spherion Greensburg is working to fill a 7am-330pm, Quality Control Associate (QC Associate) position in Export, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 to $20.00 HOURLY.

Description:

This position is responsible for the assurance of quality within the assigned area of responsibility.

• Responsibilities include receiving and inspection of the products sent from our suppliers.
• Responsible for performing a wide range of testing, final quality and final approval of product prior to being sent out to the customers.

What you'll do:

• Maintains awareness of all quality requirements for materials and material handling.
• Performs inspections and test products through the processing stages.
• Provide product approval or rejection as appropriate and document.
• Support internal and external audit functions.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical School welcome to apply.
• AS in Engineering welcome to apply.

Experience: 12 months

Manufacturing Quality Control Experience required.

Physical:

• Ability to lift up to 40# occasionally, 25# more frequently.,Ability to use hand tools of various types.,Pushing, pulling, standing, and hand dexterity.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills required: data entry and documentation creation.

Related Experience: 1 year quality control manufacturing experience., Excellent verbal and written communication.
