Press Brake Operator

Spherion Greensburg is working to fill a 1st Shift, Press Brake Operator position in Blairsville, PA. The pay rate is $20.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team! In this role, you will use a press brake machine to bend and shape sheet metal into parts for our customers

What you'll do:

• Set up and operate press brake machines safely.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to make sure they are correct.
• Select the right tools and dies for each job.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and keep your work area clean and safe.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs)
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling

Skills:

• At least 1–2 years of experience operating a press brake.
• Strong skills in reading metal fabrication blueprints.
• Basic shop math skills (fractions, decimals, and angles).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for your full shift.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on safety.
