Manufacturing Assistant

Spherion Greensburg is working to fill a 9p-7a Monday - Thursday, Manufacturing Assistant position in Blairsville, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Performs various machine or process tasks under the direct supervision of a proficient operator in

that department. Can be assigned to various departments/tasks to satisfy production needs.

What you'll do:

• Laser/Fiber Laser/Plaser: Load raw sheet, remove cut parts, shake out skeletons.
• Deburr: Hand deburr and assist operator in timesaving parts.
• Quality: Move parts as directed by Inspector.
• Brake: Bend parts under direction of operator.
• Grind: Deburr, DA sand and grind under direction of operator.
• Weld/Spotweld: Assist welder or spotwelder under direction of operator.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3 months

Physical:

• Must be able to physically stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50# occasionally.,Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Manual Dexterity

Related Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
