Mental Health Technician

Spherion is hiring a Mental Health Technician in Bentleyville. The Mental Health Technician pays $21 per hour with a part time schedule covering weekends, holidays, and fill-ins. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Mental Health Technician you would assist residents with meeting their goals, and managing their daily needs and activities.

What you'll do:

• Create a Safe Environment: Build a supportive, positive community for residents through daily therapeutic activities.
• Drive and Accompany Residents: Transport and stay with residents during off-site programs, fun activities, and doctor appointments.
• Track Resident Progress: Write down how well residents are meeting the goals in their treatment or behavior plans.
• Handle Emergencies: Immediately report any emergency to the supervisor and fill out the required incident paperwork.
• Keep Residents Safe: Protect the general safety of all residents at all times and strictly guard their private information.

Education: Bachelor Degree

• BA degree in Social Work or a related field
• Act 33/34 clearances
• Valid PA Driver's License

Experience: 12 months
