Electronic Technician

Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Electronic Technician position in Mount Pleasant, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 to $18.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Support the production of high-quality electronic assemblies by testing electronic and electromechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards

What you'll do:

• • Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the subassembly level 
• Perform basic functional testing and diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, automated test equipment, and other tools, including voltage measurements 
• Utilize interactive software during testing and troubleshooting 
• Document test results, rework actions, and quality findings and maintain accurate records of tests and repairs 
• Maintain compliance with customer specifications, ISO standards, and internal quality procedures 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow ESD and safety protocol 
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Education: High School

• technical certificate or associate degree in electronics preferred

Experience: 24 months

Skills:

• Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and tools 
• Ability to operate electronic test equipment specifically including digital multi meters 
• Ability to read measurement and calibration tools and instruments 
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment 
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results 
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, and small print for basic assemblies 
• Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables 
• Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) 
• Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members
