Carpenter

Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a Varies, Carpenter position throughout Westmoreland County and other local areas. The pay rate is $18.00 to $25.00 HOURLY, but experience would determine final rate of pay offered. 

This is a direct hire position for our client.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finish carpentry, be comfortable working independently or as part of a crew, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

What you'll do:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications.
• Install framing, doors, windows, cabinets, and trim.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED 

Experience: 3 months

Related Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related construction trade., Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings., Proficient in use of hand and power tools., Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship., Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials., High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
