Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a 2nd Shift, Journeyman Tool and Die position in Saltsburg, PA. The pay rate is $33.08 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Tool and Die Cutter to join our team. In this job, you will help make and repair special tools, dies, and parts used in machines. You will work with metal and use machines like grinders, lathes, and mills to shape parts. Your work helps keep our machines running safely and smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints (detailed drawings) to understand what to make
- Cut and shape metal to make tools and dies
- Use machines like lathes, mills, and grinders
- Check your work using measuring tools
- Fix or change tools and dies when they are worn out
- Work with other team members to solve problems
- Follow safety rules to keep yourself and others safe
Education: Professional Certificate
- Journeyman papers required
Experience: 48 months
Must be a certified journeyman or have completed a tool and die apprenticeship, 4 or more years of experience working in tool and die, Can read blueprints and use measuring tools, Know how to use machines to cut and shape metal, Able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods, Good at paying attention to small details Work well with others Post ID: GRN-210188_1-26576412Post Date: 2025-10-10
