Spherion is hiring for a Mental Health Technician in Bentleyville. The hours for this position vary and involve working on holidays as well. The Mental Health Technician position pays $17/hour
Description:
Mental Health Technicians are responsible for working with patients in a locked facility.
What you'll do:
- Providing individualized support to patients
- Transporting residents to appointments and activities as needed
- Reporting any incidents
- Documenting accomplishments of objectives by the residents
- Safeguarding residents and maintaining confidentiality
- Other duties as required
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 6 months
12 Semester Hours of college training in a mental health related field or 6 months of formal training in mental health or a related fieldSkills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Understanding of the symptoms and behaviors of those with mental health diagnosis
- Effective writing skills
- Demonstrates initiative
- Willingness to drive as needed
- Ability to understand and comprehend training
