Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a 2:45pm-10:45pm, 2nd Shift Assembler- $19/hr position in New Kensington, PA. The pay rate is $19.00 HOURLY. For a temporary position until December 31st.
Description:
Join our team and help us build important medical devices that save lives! In this job, you will put together small parts in a clean, safe room. You will follow simple instructions to make sure every device is made the right way. This job needs you to be good with your hands and pay close attention to details.
What you'll do:
- Assemble Products: Put together small medical device parts using your hands and simple tools like tweezers or screwdrivers. You might use a microscope sometimes to see small details.
- Follow Instructions: Read and understand written instructions and diagrams to build each product correctly.
- Check Quality: Inspect your work and test the devices to make sure they meet our high quality standards.
- Keep Records: Fill out paperwork or use a computer to track the work you do and the parts you use.
- Keep Area Clean & Safe: Follow all safety rules and keep your work area neat and organized.
- Work with Your Team: Talk with co-workers and supervisors to solve problems and meet daily production goals.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 3 months
Physical:
- Be able to sit or stand for a long time.
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
