Spherion Erie is working to fill a 1st Shift, Soldering Tech position in McKean, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 to $18.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Prior soldering experience is preferred, but we are fully prepared to train motivated candidates who has a basic understanding of the process and a desire to learn.

Description:

The Soldering Technician is responsible for performing precision soldering. This role requires attention to detail, and steady hand-eye coordination. You will need to to follow quality and safety standards to ensure reliable assemblies.

What you'll do:

• Perform hand soldering of electronic components
• Read and understand work instructions
• Assemble components on schedule
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Prep Materials

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Proficiency or understanding of hand soldering techniques

Physical:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Good vision
• Steady hands
• Ability to life 25-40lbs occasionally

Skills:

• Attention to deails
• Basic computer skills
• Hand soldering
• Read and understand written instructions
