Spherion Erie is working to fill a 1st Shift, Machinist/Fabricator position in Erie, PA. The pay rate is $23.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
Spherion Erie is looking for Machinist with fabrication abilities. This role combines traditional machining skills with hands-on fabrication and assembly work.
What you'll do:
- Set-up, programming and operating manual and CNC machines
- Interpret and work from blueprints
- Measure and Inspect finished parts
- Selecting appropriate materials for each job
Education: Not Specified
Experience: 6 months
Basic Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, Welding certifications or experience, Ability to read geometric dimensioning, Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude, Experience/Understanding of G codeSkills:
- Preform metal fabrication tasks
- Operate fabrications equipment
- Fit and assemble parts
- Modify and repair existing parts
