Janitorial and Maintenance Worker

Spherion Erie is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Janitorial and Maintenance Worker position in Erie, PA. The pay rate is $15.00 to $16.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

The Janitorial and Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas, restrooms, and common spaces. Responsible for handling waste disposal, manage cleaning supplies, and ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a hygienic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Janitorial Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces
  • Empty trash and recycling bins
  • Maintain restrooms, ensuring stock and sanitized.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory
  • Maintenance Responsibilities
    • Assist Maintenance Supervisor and or Technician as needed when performing repairs or project work
    • Learn to perform light repairs and maintenance as needed.
    • Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance.

    Education: High School

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Experience: 6 months

    6 months of Janitorial and Maintenance

    Related Experience: Janitorial, Maintenance Technician
