Quality Inspector

Spherion Erie is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Quality Inspector (QC Inspector) position in Fairview, PA. The pay rate is $14.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Bus route is available for this position. If you are reliable and eager to work and detail oriented we would love to have you join our TEAM!

Job Description:

The Quality Inspector works with a team in the production facility to visually inspect completed jobs for accuracy. This is an essential role for achieving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspector responsibilities:
  • Obtain purchase order and create job packets
  • Match artwork to standard
  •  Visually compare the artwork to the customer standard and the part the technician has produced for missing print, scratches, black spots, heat marks, or broken pieces by using standard comparison, color match, graphic location and barcode scanning

  Education: High School

  Experience: 6 months

  Previous quality experience preferred but not required

  Physical:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day

  Skills:

  • Must have good vision and color perception
  • Detail orientation
