Spherion Erie is working with a client in their search to fill a 2nd Shift, Production Machine Operator position in Fairview, PA. The pay rate is $14.60 an hour. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Requires having own transportation.
Description:
Interested candidates for Production Machine Operator should have a strong / independent work ethic and attendance history. In addition, the position will require an individual who takes pride in his / her work and can cooperate with others and work as a member of a team. On-the-job training will be provided.
What you'll do:
- Production Machine Operator Responsibilities include:
- Tends to injection molding machines to support requirements and monitor production from assigned presses.
- Conducts visual inspections of molded parts to check product quality.
- Assists with the weighing and packaging of molded parts at assigned presses.
- Communicates production related issues, such as product defects and equipment problems, on a regular basis to QA and / or supervisory personnel.
Education: High School
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 6 months
Previous manufacturing experience a plusRelated Experience: manufacturing, production worker, general laborer, 2nd shift
