Manufacturing Technician

Are you a detail-oriented maker with a passion for precision? We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technicians to join our production team! In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality molded composite parts that meet rigorous engineering standards.

Description:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you are the bridge between engineering designs and the finished product. You will handle everything from cutting and laying up advanced materials to final assembly. Your expertise ensures we maintain high efficiency and keep our customers satisfied.

What you'll do:

• Release air bubbles and smooth seams, using rollers.
• Select precut materials as required by projects being assembled.
• Pat or press layers of materials into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands or squeegees.
• Check completed products for conformance to specifications
• Trim excess materials from molds, using hand shears or trimming knives.

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (anything over requires 2 people or lift device)

Skills:

• Selects, weighs, mixes, and applies appropriate adhesives as defined in the job instructions.
