Machine Operator - Molding

Spherion Erie is looking to fill a 6am-4pm, Monday - Thursday, Machine Operator - Molding position in Fairview, PA. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY.  Requires you have your own transportation as bus is not available. This position also offers overtime on Fridays. Description:

The Molding Machine Operator operates power and/or hand equipment to manufacturing Plastic or Rubber products, and also assemble Plastic or Rubber products, by crimping, shaping, labeling, staking, bonding, and other assembly related tasks by performing the following duties.

What you'll do:

• Molding Machine Operator responsibilities include:
  • Operate Molding Machinery and separate product including packing products for shipping.
  • Insert sub-assembly parts in mold for over molding.
  • De-gate and trim parts of flash and gates.
  • Inspect parts for flaws, cuts, tears, non-fills, burnt materials, color, scratches, any visuals specified by Quality personnel and Work Sheets.

  Education: High School

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  Experience: 6 months

  6 months experience in a manufacturing setting

  Related Experience: machining, production, manufacturing
