2nd Shift Machine Adjuster

Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a 2nd Shift, 2nd Shift Machine Adjuster position in Mount Pleasant, PA. The pay rate is $19.77 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Shift would be Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm for the 2nd shift. They will train on 1st (7am-3pm) for several weeks.

Are you good with your hands and like figuring out how machines work? We are looking for an Envelope Machine Adjuster Trainee to join our production team!

In this role, you will learn how to set up, run, and repair high-speed envelope folding machines. You don't need prior envelope experience—we will train you! You will start on 1st shift to learn from our experienced mechanics, then move to 2nd shift once you know the basics.

What you'll do:

• Learn the Machines: Train alongside senior mechanics to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot high-speed envelope machines.
• Make Adjustments: Use hand tools to change parts, set machine timings, and adjust paper feeds for different envelope sizes.
• Keep Machines Running: Fix small breakdowns quickly to keep production moving smoothly.
• Check Quality: Test finished envelopes to make sure folds, glue, and printing look perfect.
• Perform Maintenance: Clean, oil, and inspect equipment to stop problems before they start.
• Work Safely: Follow all safety rules and keep your work area clean and organized.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Manual Dexterity

Skills:

• Mechanical Aptitude: You enjoy working with tools, fixing things, or working on cars or appliances.,Shift Flexibility: Able to work 1st shift during your initial training period (at least 2 months), then permanently work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).,Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and do basic addition and subtraction.,Reliable: You show up on time and ready to work every day.,Good Attitude: Willing to learn, ask questions, and work well with others.
