Spherion is working with a client in the Mount Pleasant Area. Open position is for Machine adjuster trainees. Pay rate is $19.77 Would train on 1st shift then move to a night shift position.
Description:
Mechanically inclined? Then this position may be a great fit for you. No extensive experience necessary but you will need to enjoy fix and adjusting items mechanically to be successful in this position. This includes the start-up, operation, adjustments to proper parameters involving close tolerances, maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of the equipment.
What you'll do:
- This is an 18 month training program starting out on 1st shift training with a trainer.
- No formal education needed for this position, just the ability to fix things mechanically and enjoy placing items back together.
- First steps would learning how to operate the machinery and then a few months last learn how to adjust and fix minor repairs.
- Perform essential functions of the operator during breaks.
Education: High School
Experience: 2 months
High degree of mechanical aptitudePhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments,Cold Environments,Manual Dexterity
