General Laborer

Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a 1st Shift, General Laborer position in New Salem, PA. The pay rate is $14.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary.

Description:

We are hiring hard-working General Laborers to join our wire and steel plant. You will help make, move, and package steel and wire products. No experience? No problem! We will train you on the job.

What you'll do:

• Load and unload steel parts, metal wire, and equipment.
• Run basic machines to cut, bend, or bundle wire and steel.
• Pack finished items so they are ready to ship to customers.
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety rules and wear protective gear (gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots).

Education: No formal education required.

Physical:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly during your shift.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods on a concrete floor.
• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs)
