Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a Night Shift, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position in Mount Pleasant, PA. The pay rate is $24.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. This shift is 12 hours on a 2-2-3 rotation

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will keep our label printing presses and factory machines running smoothly. You will fix broken equipment, perform routine checkups, and help avoid costly slowdowns during night operations.

Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour night shift)

Schedule: You work 2 days, take 2 days off, work 3 days, take 2 days off, work 2 days, take 3 days off.

Perks: Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend off!

What you'll do:

• Fix Machines: Find and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on label printing presses, die-cutters, and packing tools.
• Routine Service: Clean, oil, adjust, and inspect equipment on a set schedule to prevent breakdowns.
• Quick Repairs: Respond fast to machine failures on the floor to get production moving again.
• Safety First: Follow all factory safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols while working on machinery.
• Maintain Spare Parts: Track tools and replacement parts so the workshop stays organized and ready.

Education: High School

Experience: 60 months

Experience: 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a factory (printing or packaging background is preferred)., Skills: Strong knowledge of gears, motors, belts, pumps, and basic electrical systems., Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Physical:

• Physical Needs: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long hours, and work comfortably on night shifts.
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs)
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling
• PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)
