Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a 3rd Shift, Maintenance Technician position in Mount Pleasant, PA. The pay rate is $24.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Are you good with tools and fixing machines? We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you will keep our printing presses and label-making machines running smoothly. You will troubleshoot problems, fix broken parts, and perform regular check-ups on our equipment to make sure we make top-quality labels on time.

What you'll do:

• Fix Machines: Find and repair problems with printing presses, label slitters, dies, and packing equipment.
• Regular Check-Ups: Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks to stop machines from breaking down.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Figure out mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic (air power) problems when machines stop working.
• Keep Parts Stocked: Tell the supervisor when we need to order spare machine parts.
• Follow Safety Rules: Keep your work area clean and safe. Follow all safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout rules.
• Work with the Team: Help machine operators when they run into equipment problems during the shift.

Education: High School

Experience: 36 months

At least 1–2 years of experience working as a maintenance technician in a factory or plant (experience in printing or label manufacturing is a plus!)., Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic testing gear., Ability to read basic machine blueprints and electrical wiring diagrams., Basic understanding of motors, belts, gears, and sensors.

Physical:

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during a 12-hour shift.
• Able to climb laddersand work in tight spaces when fixing machines.
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)

• Repetitive Motion
