Spherion Connellsville is working to fill Welder positions in Uniontown, Pa. The Pay Rate is $21.50 . This is a temp to perm position.
Description:
The ability to work as part of an integrated team and be self motivated is highly recommended. The qualified candidate will demonstrate effective customer relations, active listening skills and excellent verbal communication skills. Flexibility to work overtime is required.
What you'll do:
- Weld metal parts, use mig, tig and stick welding to build and repair heavy steel parts for mining machine
- Read Blue Prints
- Check welds to make sure they are strong, clean and free of defects.
- Safely operate grinders, plasma cutters and other metal working tools.
- Follow all safety rules, keep your work area clean, and wear required safety gear.
Education: High School
- Must have high school diploma
- Technical Diploma or certification in Welding
Experience: 36 months
