Quality Control Checker (QC Checker)

Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a 3rd Shift, Quality Control Checker (QC Checker) position in Masontown, PA. The pay rate is $18.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. Work schedule is 4 - 10 hour days: Monday - Thursday 8:30pm - 7:00am. You will train on the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Description:

We are looking for a reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our team and help us spot mistakes before our customers do!

What you'll do:

• Check the details: Look at stitching and seams to make sure they are strong and neat.
• Measure the clothes: Use a tape measure to ensure the clothing is the exact right size.
• Spot stains or rips: Check the fabric for any dirt, holes, or discoloration.
• Keep track of mistakes: Write down what problems you find so our team can fix them.
• Pack with care: Make sure the finished clothes are folded nicely and tagged correctly.

Education: High School

Physical:

• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Skills:

• Has great attention to detail: You notice the little things that others might miss.
• Is a team player: You can talk politely with the sewing team when something needs to be fixed.
• Can stand for a while: You will be on your feet and moving around during your shift.
• Is reliable: You show up on time and ready to work.
