Warehouse Associate

Spherion Connellsville is working to fill a 1st Shift, Warehouse Associate position in Hunker, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary.

Description:

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Container Associate to join our food production team! In this role, you will help load, unload, and organize food containers and boxes in our warehouse. You will make sure our food products are packed safely and moved to the right place on time.

What you'll do:

• Unload and Load: Safely move food supplies, boxes, and containers off delivery trucks and put them in the warehouse.
• Inspect Items: Check boxes and containers for any damage, leaks, or wrong labels before storing them.
• Keep Food Safe: Follow clean kitchen and warehouse rules so our food stays safe to eat.
• Organize Stock: Stack boxes neat and straight on pallets (wooden boards) and use hand trucks or pallet jacks to move them.
• Pack Orders: Read simple order sheets to gather the right food containers for shipping out to store customers.
• Clean Your Area: Sweep floors, throw away trash, and keep your workspace tidy and safe.

Education: High School

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling

Skills:

• Able to stand, walk, and bend for a full shift (8 to 10 hours).
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to work in cold rooms (some food areas are refrigerated or frozen).
• Good attitude, punctual (on time), and works well with a team.
• Simple math skills (counting boxes and checking numbers).
