Machine Operator

Spherion Connellsville is hiring a Machine Operator in Mount Pleasant, PA! This position is Night Shift 7pm-7am. The pay rate is $18.00 HOURLY. This Machine Operator position is entry-level - no experience necessary! This is a Temp to Hire opportunity - get hired on permanently.

Description:

We are looking for a Slitter Operator to join our team! In this job, you will use a large machine to cut big rolls of material into smaller, thinner rolls.

You will work 12-hour shifts at night. The 2-2-3 schedule means you only work 15 days a month. Enjoy a three-day weekend every other week!

What you'll do:

• Set up the blades and rollers to cut the material correctly.
• Use rulers and tools to make sure the cuts are the perfect size.
• Load large rolls onto the machine and take the finished ones off.
• Make sure your work area is clean and safe.
• Watch the machine to make sure the material doesn't wrinkle or tear.

Education: High School

Physical:

• will be standing for 12 hour shift,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling

Skills:

• Able to read a ruler very well,You can stand for a long time and lift heavy items,Follow all rules to keep yourself and others safe,Be punctual and on time!
