Description:
Operates and monitors coating machines used to apply coatings to jumbo rolls, ensuring consistent quality and efficient production. Responsible for meeting established weekly, monthly, and annual output targets by following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. This position works 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform in a continuous production environment.
What you'll do:
- Operate a coating machine and produce the correctly coated ink ribbon.
- Load new rolls onto machine
- Measuring and mixing chemicals
- Keeping adequate amounts of mixing materials in the mixing area at all times
- Labeling jumbo rolls and moving to the storage rack
- Palletize rolls when necessary
Education: High School/GED
- High School Diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Able to lift 50lbs
