We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Custodial Worker to join our apartment building team. This role is responsible for the daily upkeep, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the building’s interior and exterior spaces, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.
Job Description:
- Custodial Duties: Clean common areas such as lobby, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and apartment unit when preparing for a move in. Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and manage waste disposal. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces. Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintenance Support: Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, and patching drywall. Report more complex repair needs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager. Assist with apartment turnover cleaning and light maintenance during tenant move-outs and move-ins.
- Exterior Grounds keeping: Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, and entrances. Remove trash and debris from around the property. Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting walkways, leaf blowing, and minor landscaping.
