Spherion Bedford is working to fill a 1st Shift, Tire Mounter position in Bedford, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY.

Description:

This position is responsible for mounting and assembling single-piece, three-piece, and five-piece wheels and tires while ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the process.

What you'll do:

• Mount and assemble single-piece, three-piece, and five-piece wheels and tires
• Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications accurately
• Preassemble wheels and organize wheels and tires for the mounting process
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervisors

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Basic knowledge of tires and tire mounting preferred, Positive attitude with strong self-motivation, Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail, Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with unrestricted mobility
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, along with bending, standing, pushing, and pulling tires throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
