Spherion Altoona is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Warehouse Utility Personnel position in Duncansville, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY.
Description:
We are seeking a Team Member that will be responsible for accurately picking, checking, packing, and restocking customer orders in a warehouse environment.
What you'll do:
- Pick customer orders accurately and place items into totes with the appropriate labels and packing materials.
- Check orders carefully for accuracy and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Pack orders securely to prevent product damage during shipment.
- Restock merchandise as needed to maintain an efficient workflow and verify that products are stocked correctly.
- Use handheld scanners to scan products, UPC codes, totes, and restocked merchandise.
- Maintain the quality of refrigerated products during the fulfillment and shipping process.
- Prepare and freeze ice bricks used for shipping refrigerated items.
- Follow specific procedures when working in restricted areas such as the Cage and Vault.
