Spherion Altoona is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Maintenance Technician position. The pay rate is $25.00 HOURLY.

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with a strong background in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance to brings hands- on experience to ensure smooth and safe operations.

What you'll do:

• Provide hands-on support to 2nd shift production by diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, ensuring machinery is returned to safe and efficient operating condition.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance across multiple sites, following procedures outlined in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members across all shifts to meet production, quality, and financial performance objectives.
• Monitor and maintain equipment uptime and ensure process reliability meets quality standards. Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and electronic control components, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, bearings, and other power transmission components to ensure operational stability.
• Support inventory control by managing maintenance spare parts to ensure critical components are available when needed.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing principles in all maintenance tasks and project work, driving efficiency and eliminating waste throughout the operation.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months
