Floor Care Specialist

Spherion is hiring a 1st Shift, Floor Care Specialist position in Canonsburg, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. The Floor Care Specialist will maintain the floors throughout both warehouses ensuring they are safe, and productive workspaces. 

Description:

As a Floor Care Specialist, you are the backbone of the building's daily operations, ensuring that the floors at both warehouses are clean and welcoming. The ideal employee would be motivated, comfortable operating floor scrubbers and managing waste removal. 

What you'll do:

• Operate industrial ride-on floor scrubber to clean large surface areas
• Perform routine sweeping and mopping in high traffic areas
• Empty, clean and dispose of garbage throughout the warehouses
• Use proper chemicals and equipment to remove scuffs, spills and debris
• Perform daily maintenance on floor scrubber, such as refilling water, cleaning pads, charging the battery, etc. 
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment by placing "Wet Floor" signs

Education: High School

Experience: 3 months

Skills:

• Experience with mechanical ability is a plus
