Spherion Sunbury is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk position in Milton, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY
Description:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring outgoing shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and documented. The shipping clerk plays a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency within the warehouse. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, adheres to safety procedures, and maintains a steady workflow to support daily production goals. What you'll do:
- Prepare Outgoing Shipments
- Pick, pack, label, and stage orders
- Verify quantities, descriptions, and shipping instructions
- Ensure packaging meets safety and carrier standards
- Generate packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading
- Maintain accurate records for audits and tracking
- Report discrepancies (shortages, damaged goods, mislabels)
- Work with receiving and inventory teams to keep stock organized
- Collaborate with receiving, production, and customer service
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
