Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (Clinic LPN)

Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a 12:30PM-8:30PM,  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in Bentleyville, PA. The pay rate is $24.21 HOURLY.

• Double time paid on holidays (15 holidays recognized). 

Description:

Our client is seeking a permanent placement for their open LPN position in their LTSR facility. There is some flexibility with the schedule. The client is seeking someone who is compassionate about the mental health field in supporting others growth, recovery and to assist the residents to reaching their full potential.

What you'll do:

• Preparing, recording and administering medications
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Maintaining resident medical records
• Administering prescribed medical treatment
• Ordering prescribed laboratory testing
• Maintaining inventory of all pharmaceuticals
• Observing and reporting resident behavioral changes
• Completion of progress notes and administrative reports
• Advising Mental Health Technicians of medical side effects and treatment precautions

Education: Not Specified

• Licensure in practical nursing
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Understanding of the symptoms and behavior of the mental health client
• Record keeping
• Assertive and capable of independent action when initiative required
• Full realization of the ramifications of confidentiality
