Description:
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a healthcare setting.
This role plays an important part in maintaining resident health, satisfaction, and dietary needs.
What you'll do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to menu plans and dietary guidelines.
- Follow physician-ordered diet restrictions and portion controls.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation standards per state and federal regulations.
- Ensure safe food handling, storage, and labeling.
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and stocking of food supplies.
- Collaborate with dietary aides and healthcare staff to meet resident needs.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and food prep areas.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 months
