Spherion Greensburg is working with a client in their search to fill a Various shifts available, Extruder position in Delmont, PA. The pay rate is $17.35 HOURLY.
- Paid weekly and benefits offered.
- Pay range is determined by what shift and experience you possess.
Description:
- Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines according to production specifications.
- Adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, pressure, etc.) to maintain product quality.
- Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Document production data, including materials used and output produced.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll do:
- Previous experience operating extrusion equipment preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
