Spherion Bedford is working to fill  1st & 2nd Shifts, CNC Operator  position in Bedford, PA. The pay rate is $19.00 to $23.00 HOURLY.

Description:

We are seeking a candidate that will perform maintenance on machines, cleaning and organization of tools and work area, set-up and program CNC machine to ensure parts are in compliance with customer drawing specifications. 

What you'll do:

• Follow all company policies and safety procedures while operating CNC equipment.
• Interpret work orders, drawings, and blueprints to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines using CAD/CAM systems and G-/M-codes.
• Select appropriate tooling and perform dimensional inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain CNC programs, data transfers, and backups.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic machine maintenance.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of G-codes, CNC tooling, and machine setups.
• Proficiency in math and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
