Mig Welder

Spherion Bedford is working to fill a 3rd Shift, Mig Welder position in Bedford, PA. The pay rate is $23.07 HOURLY.

Description:

Primary duty is performing welding operations on various customer products using manual and/or robotic welding equipment.

What you'll do:

• Set up and operated MIG welding equipment per WPS and setup instructions
• Verified filler materials, adjusted gas flow, and optimized machine settings
• Read blueprints and weld prints to ensure accurate weld size and placement
• Loaded and aligned parts in fixtures; performed welding to customer specifications
• Cleaned welds, removed spatter, and performed grinding/finishing as needed
• Conducted quality inspections and reworked parts to meet standards
• Operated robotic weld cells and ensured proper tooling setup
• Maintained equipment and kept a safe, clean work environment

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Ability to left up to 50 lbs at a time. This position involves a lot of bending, twisting and lifting.

Skills:

• Minimum one year of related experience is preferred.
• Experience as a welder and running a robotic welder.
• Must be able to read blueprints, work orders, and follow instructions.
• Ability to pass a hands on and written test.
